Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense, elegant. Citrussy. Candied lemon, bergamot. Lemon meringue pie. A full grassy note. Hay, angelica.
Palate: Satin soft, rich. Round and nicely coating. The same citrussy profile as on the nose. Getting spicy. Ginger ale.
Finish: Medium long, spicy and dry.
Comment: A lively and fresh dram. So citrussy…water smoothes it but I like the energising kick when neat.
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: A robust nose with tomato leaf, brown sauce, red apple chutney and spiced plums. It flattened a little with water and some warm brown paper.
Palate: Sticky caramel sauce and coffee flavoured chocolate. Orange zest from the peel. Toffee apple and cranberry. A lovely balance of sweet and dry flavours.
Finish: A thick texture, chewy and grippy to the end.
Comment: I’d like to get my hands on a bottle of this, lots to hold your attention.
