Tasting notes
Taster   Kate Packwood
Nose: Mango, melon and red cherries lead, then lots of oak and big floral notes of tulips and roses. Sweetness comes, sugared almonds, honeyed peaches and lemon drops, before headier notes of jasmine.
Palate: Nectarines, peach melba and red cocktail cherries, lashings of honey and a big hit of parma violet.
Finish: A big puff of cinnamon spice and chilli heat that rolls off into violets.
Comment: Gorgeous. Violets all the way, with lovely sweetness that builds and is balanced beautifully by oak.
9.2
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Slowly sweetness rises, mown grass, honeycomb, toffee parkin cake, dark chocolate and coconut ice cream with tangerine jelly, fruit syrup.
Palate: Vanilla ice cream with syrup waffles. Full fat butter and the oak tannins begin to build.
Finish: Long and lush with sweetness coming from caster sugar and moving to toffee.
Comment: A gentle drop that packs a punch towards the end. A velvet covered hand in a velvet glove.
