Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Parkin cake and dark treacle, cinnamon laced apple pie, warm pastry, a touch of tobacco leaves.
Palate: Fruity, juicy tropical fruits. There is also a slow build of spices. Fresh cut woodand pencil boxes come through.
Finish: Crisp and lush.
Comment: A great follow up and superb blending skills on show.
8.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense. Floral and woody. Sandalwood. Fading rose. Sour fruit. Stewed rhubarb. Varnished wood.
Palate: Crisp. Astringent. Wood is dominating. Then a sweet note of marshmallow and crystallised violet. Some ginger.
Finish: Quite short. Dry.
Comment: Wood speaks up. In an elegant way though.
