Tasting notes
Taster   Becky Paskin
Nose: Freshly baked banana bread with warm, gooey salted caramel pieces and a dollop of rum ‘n’ raisin ice cream (my idea of dessert heaven).
Palate: Super thick and mouth-coating, it’s initially syrupy sweet and dessert-like before wonderful, zingy oak spices prance across the tongue, bringing crystallised ginger, cinnamon, rum, sticky banana and toffee.
Finish: Moist Jamaican ginger cake with a butter-caramel drizzle.
Comment: Like sticking your head into a freshly baked cake. Just delicious really.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Dive into some serious sweet bready goodness, warm apricot croissants, ginger cake, Ben and Jerry’s Fish Food ice cream. Strawberry syrup. Blueberry muffins with clotted cream.
Palate: Ginger snap biscuits with brandy cream, really rich and indulgent. Cinnamon spices lurk. There’s vanilla pods and neat blackcurrant juice.
Finish: Big and lush, hangs around with sticky sweetness.
Comment: Summer is here again, something wonderfully rum-esque. Try it over ice cream with chocolate sauce.
