Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: A local coffee shop. Freshly baked cakes, fruit loaf, pear frangipane tarts and nutty carrot cake, with a milky latte.
Palate: Things get a lot richer here, with lovely red berry compote drizzled over the top of a fresh fruit and vanilla tart.
Finish: Lingering sweetness, with the depth coming from oak spice.
Comment: This is a beauty, bursting with character. It’s warming and comforting, as well as being full of complexity.
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Gorse, calendula petals, tinned pineapple rings and subtle pine notes. Peach gummy candy and sherbet saucers.
Palate: Medium-light. Papaya and pineapple, more lemon sherbet and orange lollypop. Juicy red apple, marshmallow and subtle milk cookie. Some sweet vanilla notes of white chocolate in there, too.
Finish: Medium-long, on the pineapple and marshmallow notes.
Comment: Big, clean and tasty flavours. Refreshing and summery.
