Tasting notes

Taster Michael Jackson

Nose: Rich, fruity, figgy.
Palate: Smooth, rich. Figs. Cream. White chocolate.
Finish: Bitter chocolate. Peppery warmth. Soothing.
Comment: Packed with flavour.

Taster Jim Murray

Nose: A voluptuous overture of spring flowers and under-ripe fruit.
Palate: The hardness of the rye arrives early and paints an oily, spice glow.
Finish: Somewhat tired. Oak suppresses the sweeter rye notes.
Comment: Shows excellent balance early on but diminishes in style and complexity as the oak gathers and the age shows. Very enjoyable, nonetheless.
