Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Lightly oily note. Floral with soft fruits. Sandalwood, hint of compost, rhum shrub, mace. Succulent, sweet and aromatic.
Palate: A nutty shell which cracks open, giving up a burst of flavour, mandarin, sweet spices. Lively, energetic. Light oaky notes.
Finish: Juicy and long.
Comment: A demonstration of how good this distillery can be.
8.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Cedar. Boxes of dim sum.
Palate: Cereal grain. Egg fried rice. Macaroon on rice paper.
Finish: Sticky rice in banana leaf. Green tea.
Comment: Always a complex whisky, hard to pin down. This sample seems to have triggered an oriental mood.
