Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rock pools, wet stone. Quite tight and young with a struck match note. Clean phenolics with good intensity. Sooty with some sweetness behind.
Palate: Medium-bodied. Very pure and fresh. Light oak. Interesting mix of sweetness with spiky peppermint, then smoke. Good balance.
Finish: Fresh.
Comment: A lively smoky little number. One for a walk.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Gently sooty.
Palate: Lightly syrupy. Long development: smoky sappiness, briar-like woodiness, passionfruit, wild garlic, medicinal.
Finish: Long. Slowly stoking up the warmth.
Comment: A middleweight Islay malt.
