Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Warm nuttiness. At length, sea air.
Palate: Surprisingly big body. Emphatic. Marshmallow maltiness. Lots of flavour. Toffeeish Port notes add a whole new dimension to the estery, fruity subtleties of Bruichladdich.
Finish: Gentle blend of fruits and spices. Pepper comes into play.
Comment: Very appetising. Long, lingering.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweet. Wine gums, cranberry, raspberry ripple and light oak.
Palate: Again, a sweet, winey, start with some mushed up strawberries/raspberry sauce. The malt fights back mid-palate...
Finish: ...but back comes the port.
Comment: The Port has the upper hand here. Unbalanced.
