Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Wonderfully complex with a maltiness punctuated by a series of grassy, spicy and coal-smoky notes. Fabulously delicate.
Palate: Mouth watering at first; a wonderful display of light and heavy malt tones.
Finish: Drying with some soft vanilla-caramel notes.
Comment: A flawless example of the most luscious and complex Lowlander of them all. Should be bottled at least 43% abv, though, to highlight the full complexity.
8.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Flowery-fruity. Dry. Camomile. Lemon grass.
Palate: Firm, smooth, lightly creamy. Delicately sweet in the middle. Icing sugar. Wonderfully subtle, complex and teasing. Becoming dry.
Finish: Hint of burnt sugar and sulphur.
Comment: A reminder of a great Lowland malt lost.
