Tasting notes
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Bags of citrus with pomelo and ripe orange, grilled sugared grapefruit. Manuka honey and more orange peel comes through.
Palate: A mentholic cool tempered by a spicy toffee. It warms with salted caramel, fennel salami and carpaccio on waxed paper.
Finish: Fresh and fruity with an umami finish.
Comment: Unusual and quite mysterious – a light touch to it.
8.1
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: A very gentle herbal edge, fine leather gloves, polished wood, blood oranges, cola cubes, rich vanilla cream, rum and raisin fudge.
Palate: Bags of sweetness, candied peel, toffee pennies, sugared almonds, stewed fruits, apples, cooked oranges.
Finish: Sweet with a hint of faint spices.
Comment: A sweet and decent whisky, just feel it needs a little more pep.
