Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Young but there is some character here. Alcohol prickle, but water brings doused bonfires, buttered kippers and a hint of spices.
Palate: There smoke is here but with a cereal edge, sort of malt loaf and coal tarsoap. There is some oak sweetness too.
Finish: Crisp and refreshing.
Comment: Will be interesting to see how this develops, from a decent starting point.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: The colour is so pale that one expects a very young lad. The nose confirms. Clean new make. Smoke and some sweetness. Mint, aniseed. Quite grassy.
Palate: Sweet maltiness wrapped in smoke. Quite palatable neat but of course, thealcohol is perceptible.
Finish: Short, clean.
Comment: So difficult to score an infant ! All I can say is that there is a potential.
