Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: A clean, malty aroma brimming with a salad bowl of banana, orange, grape and figs.
Palate: Teasing yet lush malt in cloud of smoke.
Finish: Soft oak, vanilla intermingle.
Comment: Vatted malts are notoriously disappointing. At last, one to take your breath away.
8.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Very aromatic, minty, spicy, heather fragrance.
Palate: Silky. Gently sweetish start. Creamy. Nutty.
Finish: Toasty dryness. Slight juicy grassiness. Late, light, fragrant distinct, peat smokiness and hint of the sea (very late, on the front of the tongue).
Comment: The Grouse at its most graceful.
