Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Warming sticky toffee pudding with homemade custard, slices of apple dipped in peanut butter. Somewhere between vanilla and a hint of lapsang souchong tea’s smokiness.
Palate: A lot fruitier here, with green apple skin, scraped vanilla pod, raisin and digestive biscuits – that smoky peated note is interwoven here.
Finish: Dries out, with more toffee sweetness and a wisp of smoke.
Comment: Give yourself time to sit and ponder with this whisky; it’s worth spending time getting to know.

Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Light vanilla dairy notes: Cornish cream, crème brûlée, sugary icing, rich tea biscuits, desiccated coconut, and almond milk. Fresh fruit notes of lemon zest and lime juice. Waxy, with hints of fragrant daffodils.
Palate: Medium bodied, presenting dry biscuit notes, homemade muesli, almond flakes, and mellow sweetness.
Finish: Mild wood spices building to black pepper and water biscuits.
Comment: The cereal dryness works well with the fresher and zestier ester driven sweet notes. This whisky is fresh and balanced.
