Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Shy and subtle to begin with. Herbal barley, granulated sugar and thick, lightly oiled apricot. The oak appears with a pleasant toffeed / buttery demeanour and with time the aromas become quite fragrant.
Palate: Crisper and more mineral and citric than the nose would suggest, but the toffee and vanilla notes move in quickly. Good depth of barley, honey and off-sweet fruit with balancing herbal and mineral notes.
Finish: Quite citric and mineral with a light mouth-watering, juicy finish.
Comment: Dense, succulent and very enjoyable.

Taster   Charles Montanaro
Nose: A pleasure to breathe in! Reminiscent of a stack of malted barley, soft and fruity with tones of fresh fruit cake, a touch of almond near the end.
Palate: Medium bodied with good intensity and balance, baked apples, cinnamon and vanilla finished with clean soft fudge.
Finish: A touch of brine, mid length finish, well balanced and very clean.
Comment: A pleasure to imbibe, with the flavours taking turns and enchanting my palate at every sip. A touch difficult to get my head around at first, a little breathing and water goes a long way.
