Tasting notes
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Delicious mix of old leather boots, cardamom, bubblegum milkshakes and some toasted marshmallows with lemon sherbet and “forest fresh” car freshener.
Palate: The bubblegum note becomes fruity with a hot and creamy spice carrying through to the finish. Kiwi, pine sap and pickled strawberries round it off.
Finish: Creamy in texture with spice creating length. Surprisingly no need for additional water at this high abv.
Comment: Very moreish, complex and quite frankly, a pure taste sensation.
9.2
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Leather and tobacco pouches, lots of oak notes and dark honey. Dark chocolate coated blood orange. Leaf mulch, damp cotton and candle wax.
Palate: Honey roast peanuts, molasses and black treacle sweetness. Mango and vanilla ice cream, then a beefy note, cola cubes, walnut cake and cigar notes.
Finish: Sweet and savoury, a little bitter oak bite right at the end, then more dark honey.
Comment: At first a big bruiser, but as you get to know it, it has a sweeter side.
