Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Smooth and sweet. It opens up with vanilla pods and custard cream biscuits. A cider note, apple vinegar with turmeric, then the fruits hit, apples, poached pears, tea soaked plums, honeycomb in milk chocolate.
Palate: Full of fruit. The sweet syrup of tinned tropical fruit salad. Creaminess, apple pie, custard and cinnamon sticks. Citrus too.
Finish: The fruitness slowly gives way to a gentle nuttiness, praline and milk chocolate.
Comment: Like the alcoholic equivalent of a Crunchie bar ice cream with orchard fruits.
8.5
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Peppermint cremes and Turkish delights served with ripe peaches and nectarines that create a light, juicy air. Talcum powder, lavender and crushed pine nuts develop.
Palate: Juicy bursts of strawberries, peach puree and raisins tied up with the creaminess of natural Greek yoghurt and cola ice cream. Just a touch of Playdoh towards the end.
Finish: Light and airy with a nicely uncomplicated finish.
Comment: An easy going Speysider leaving you walking on air.
