Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Immature honey and vanilla, Sugar Puffs and a hint of spearmint.
Palate: Nectarines, orange blossom and more vanilla are wrapped up in sweet white chocolate and banana.
Finish: Fresh mint and almonds.
Comment: Better with time, this is a dram full of energy and life, but little immature on the palate.
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Red apples, some barley sugar sweetness, stewed summer fruit (red currants, blackcurrant and raspberries), a hint of chopped hazelnut and some floral soap.
Palate: Sweet initially, with some golden syrup covered nuts, malted milk biscuits and barley sugar. A dryness sets in with raisins, some moist oak and a little nutmeg spice.
Finish: The raisins and nutmeg battle with some fresher, zesty notes. Raisins are triumphant.
Comment: Some hushed flavours at work here, needs time to really develop, but once it does, it’s worth the wait.
