Tasting notes
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Rich and sherried, with milk chocolate, ripe apples, ginger, sultanas, vanilla and worn leather.
Palate: Smooth and full, with honey, dark chocolate and rich, spicy tropical fruits. More leather, black pepper and pleasing aged oak.
Finish: Milky cocoa and soft oak.
Comment: Rounded, confident and complex. Old Glenrothes in top form.

Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Rather pleasing fruity bouquet, orange blossom, light and very gentle.
Palate: Sweeter fruit notes on the palate, mango, along with some woody notes and a hint of red chilli.
Finish: Lingering honey sweetness.
Comment: A complex whisky which demands not to be rushed.
