Tasting notes
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Rich and spicy with aromas of cayenne pepper, toasted sage, dark chocolate and butterscotch. Blackcurrant jam, gingerbread and Battenberg cake in leather suitcase.
Palate: Grated nutmeg and ginger end up packing a punch whilst essences of cookie dough, Braeburn red apples, orange peel and pistachio marshmallows create a soft texture.
Finish: Leathery, in a good way, with warming spices creating a delicate wood smoke.
Comment: Walking into a shisha lounge in a gingerbread house.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Heavy sulphur hits at first. Then the oak and sherry. Oxford marmalade and hot toasted brown bread. Fresh pealed oranges, then into caramel and vanilla slices.
Palate: Plenty of sherry. Tiramisu and a little spicy edge. Wet walnuts and roasted cobnuts.
Finish: Just keeps on giving, spices come in the form of nutmeg and saffron. Oak is here too.
Comment: A great little sherry bomb for the winter weather. Best drank in front of an open fire I think.
