Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Spirity. Lemon juice. A hint of vanilla. Grassy. Lemon balm. Drying hay. A distant scent of smoke.
Palate: Sweet. Pear drop. Fizzy. Surprisingly. The alcohol is not too sharp.
Finish: Short, sweet. Grassy.
Comment: A new make that has just touched the wood? It does need a good dash of water. Pleasant like a pear eau-de-vie. But it is a baby! Worth trying it frozen, like a vodka.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Neutral. You sniff, you wait, then slowly it comes:lemon, Marigold rubber gloves, then a light floral smokiness, salted peanut.
Palate: Intense and focused on the tip of the tongue, but ultimately young and plain. Little more than new make. Sweetness is there, but none of the dimension and definition given by oak.
Finish: Rubbery.
Comment: The question is...why now?
