Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Shy at first but then caramel and toffee pennies. An interesting roast nut note with honey and cinnamon. Faded roses and cut dried flowers. A herbal quality - bouquet garni.
Palate: There's a smokiness to this, the neighbours having a barbeque with pork chops and chilli corn. Oak creaminess comes through rounding things out. A little citrus too.
Finish: Sweet and a little smoky, waves of bran flakes and barley.
Comment: A neat well balanced blend.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: This is a slow mover but with time grassy and mint tones develop followed by cranberry juice, sage, burnt orange and cremola foam.
Palate: Minty, herbal and smooth as silk. Fresh cotton linen, white grape skin, mango, yoghurt covered raisins and a healthy dollop of whipped double cream to top it off.
Finish: A hasty finish but there’s a creamy consistency that lengthens it. Think about cereal milk.
Comment: James Bond’s silk pyjamas aren’t as smooth as this.
