Tasting notes
Taster   Kate Packwood
Nose: Dark chocolate and the little slip of paper in a new packet of cigarettes. Clean, earthy notes like freshly dug potatoes. Stewed plums, icing sugar and sugared almonds, cherries in balsamic syrup.
Palate: Dark cherries in syrup, soft leather, toasted walnuts, orange oil, dark chocolate and cola cubes.
Finish: Dark cherry lingers together with rising chilli heat.
Comment: Absolutely gorgeous. Full of subtleties and surprises. Certainly stands out from the crowd.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Like leafy forest walks as the leaves are in full turn, mulch, bracken and dry tobacco leaves. In time, more goat’s cheese and honey. Floral notes are shy but there. Brown sugar cubes and coffee grinds after brewing.
Palate: Oily and sweet at first. Then fruits gradually roll in, a little copper metallic note in a nice way, then chilli and spices hit.
Finish: Punchy and hugely spiced with oranges and cherries. A touch of menthol.
Comment: The full gamut of aroma and flavour. Well balanced and put together.
