Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweet and very pure. There's touches of wet clay, cowgum, apple sponge, bran, pecan, orange zest and apple. Seems young, but touches of varnish and wood oil suggests it's older than it appears.
Palate: Clean though a little soapy. Light citrus and crisp oak. Decent balance. Nutty power and good length.
Finish: Slightly malty.
Comment: Old with a certain sexy, slinky quality.

Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Rose (Turkish Delight), strawberry tart, and marshmallow. Pear drops and milk chocolate.
Palate: Wood dominated, with a lime pickle and a barky bitterness.
Finish: More bark, and a herby dryness.
Comment: One of those drams with a nose which is quite different to the palate. I worried that the bitterness might get too much after a few drams, but adored that confected, cute and fluffy nose.
