Tasting notes
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Opening a box filled with all the plastic toys and Playdoh. Kiwis. Followed by brandy buttercream, banana ice cream and raspberry vinegar creating a prickly nose.
Palate: A lot calmer on the palate with a gorgeous creamy consistency. Meringues topped with raspberry coulis, passionfruit and extra buttered butteries. White chocolate brioche rolls and minty pineapple juice.
Finish: There goes those buttered butteries again.
Comment: A bakery stuffed to the brim with every breakfast pastry possible. Yum.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Closed off at first, sharp salted chilli prickle, alcohol tingles. Toasted dried herbs, sage and pine nuts. A meaty note strikes up, slow-cooked beef over wood chips. Incense, ginger spice and wood smoke.
Palate: Green apple sour sweets, caramel sweetness balances this out. Plenty of cinder toffee and rose water.
Finish: Like alcoholic liquorice with the tang of green apple. Holds for a little then heats up and dissipates quickly.
Comment: Rich and caramelly. Gorgeous.
