Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Malty, heathery, oaky.
Palate: Malty. Brown sugar. Ginger. Oak. Body is smooth and creamy.
Finish: Crisp treacle toffee.
Comment: More robust and less sophisticated than the distillery bottlings.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: \"Sherried\" notes: date, dried fruits, walnut/chestnut, heading to rancio. There's a rich, generous spirit as well: burnt orange, rooty, honey.
Palate: Smoke under the rounded nutty dried figgy notes. Honey and soft malt.
Finish: Slightly tannic.
Comment: An old bugger, but the character still shines through the sherry.
