Tasting notes
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: A light sherry influence like amontillado. Golden castor sugar, warm wooden decking with beeswax polish. The nose became a little elusive with water, it lost its way.
Palate: Pink grapefruit sprinkled with brown sugar under the grill, then more tropical fruits of guava and mango. Terrys Chocolate Orange and mocha coffee.
Finish: Satin smoothness.
Comment: Classic and classy - I preferred it neat.

Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Butterscotch sauce, dry sherry, a slight hint of something soapy, alongside some fruity yogurt notes.
Palate: Heather honey, a little spirit, plus a dry oakiness. It feels a little one-dimensional and the wood influence is very clear cut.
Finish: Short, with a little spiced oak.
Comment: Perhaps a little tired this one. Something of a curate’s egg.
