Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Buttery with a faint butyric note. A thin veil of smoke hoovers over poached pears. Wet rush. Aeration brings a delicate fresh citrus breath.
Palate: Smooth, silky, sweet at start. An earthy dryness pleasantly invades the palate while spices tingle tastebuds.
Finish: Fruity, spicy, dry. Fresh almond aftertaste.
Comment: That guy hides a tender heart under a reserved manner. Give it time and a dash of fresh water. Definitely an outdoor dram.
8.0
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Malty/Ovaltine with hazelnut, wood shavings red grapes and candied peel. Becomes hard with water.
Palate: A dry slightly charred start before deepening moving through hazelnut into stewed fruit decent balance.
Finish: Sudden raisin.
Comment: Better weight but ultimately this is still fragile.
