Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Dry hay, dry meadow flowers. Green oak. Noses young. A fruity note. White grapes. Distant earthy peat note.
Palate: Smooth and sweet, very sweet. Oily. Vanilla syrup. Juicy pears. Malty. Drying on cereals. Muësli. Water brings out the peat.
Finish: Quickly fading. A dry spicy touch. And a slight astringency.
Comment: Simple, easygoing dram. A bit too sweet for me.
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Lots of young grain notes, salted limes, some flint. Baking tins. It seems very flat.
Palate: There is some orange juice and hint of bonfire smoke. Honey comb and tinned fruit salad. It seems a little confused.
Finish: It is too soft and leaves an apple pip astringency at the back of the mouth.
Comment: An interesting idea but it needs more identity.
