Tasting notes

Taster Phoebe Calver

Nose: Like lifting the lid off the old boiled sweets tin. It’s bright and fresh with sliced peaches, juicy mango and a hint of dried papaya. Sweet allspice warms it up, then some rice pudding.
Palate: Syrupy sweetness coats the mouth, like peaches in a can. Then the sweetness continues into custard over a vanilla sponge pudding. There’s floral heather.
Finish: Medium and very fruity.
Comment: A really enjoyable combination of bright fruits and calming notes.

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: Pineapple yoghurt – a blend of tropical fruit and gentle fermented yeasty notes. Lemon curd on white toast. Otherwise quite restrained. Sweet cereal and more zesty lemon notes emerge with addition of water.
Palate: Fruit forward with dried mango, lemon sherbet and a delicate minerality. Balanced florals of lily and lemongrass retro-nasally. Has a pleasant creaminess too.
Finish: Medium length with plenty of dried mango and citrus.
Comment: A nice malt whisky-forward blend.
