Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Light, with marzipan, hints of Play-Doh, lemon zest, chopped toasted hazelnuts and fresh raspberries.
Palate: Wow -this is Cranachan in a glass: tart Scottish raspberries, whipped cream and honey and toasted oats, with the addition of some menthol/ aniseed notes too.
Finish: Lingering notes of citrus zest and those raspberries.
Comment: Time to start stocking up for your Burns' Night toast, me thinks.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Big alcohol at first then prickly apricot skins, mango and orange juice, toasted coconut, macaroons, expensive face cream and hand lotion.
Palate: Quite malty, Nice biscuits, custard creams, soft toffee pennies, milk chocolate, cocoa powders and then a pastry note.
Finish: Short but juicy.
Comment: Layers of flavour emerge once the alcohol prickle is knocked back with water.
