Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rich and soft. Ridiculously creamy: blackberry cheesecake, semi-dried fruits, roasted nuts. Voluptuous.
Palate: Spicy and dark with ginger notes. Fruit cake, smoked paprika, butter, dried fruit.
Finish: Palo Cortado, nutty, marzipan.
Comment: A big soft beast of a dram. More please!
8.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Aromatic. Somewhere in the distance, they are burning heather.
Palate: Malty dryness. Straight-ahead attack. Powerful. Grips the taste sensors and won't let go.
Finish: Sweet but peppery.
Comment: I admired its feistiness, but I might be more comfortable with a greater degree of maturity.
7.5
