Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant, smoke: smoked meats, medicinal, but also flowers and citrus. Great complexity.
Palate: Layers of complex, balanced, flavours. Wonderful weight: thrift, flowers, smoked meat, spice. Precise and balanced.
Finish: Long and slightly dry from the smoke but complex.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Soft. Very flowery. Nasturtiums? Garden bonfires.
Palate: Light to medium. Smooth. Flowery but substantial. Orange blossom honey.
Finish: Spicy, long, dry peaty.
Comment: A surprising amount of peat in this usually very delicate malt.
