Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and fragrant. Lightly floral with a slight buttery, meadowsweet note and a twinge of unripe fruit. Some almond and a little lemon and wet wool.
Palate: Sweet and slightly syrupy to start. Bright and clean then the floral characters come through. Fresh lime. Needs water.
Finish: Gentle and springlike.
Comment: Balanced fresh and delicious.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Tangy. Grassy. Needs to be aerated to tone the sharpness down. Very perfumed on the hand. Drying hay, thick honey, honeysuckle.
Palate: Crisp and fresh. A good balance of sweet cereals and young oak. The tangy feel of the alcohol bite keeps the sharpness high though. With water lemony and gingery.
Finish: Dry,slightly bitter. Fizzy.
Comment: A frisky malt which tastes young. But too angular. Not a very fruitful maturation?
