Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Like sticking your head in a spice chest: toasty wood, oak shavings, then sweet caramelised fuits, demarara sugar and citrus. As it opens eucalyptus.
Palate: Very sweet and concentrated then a cool peppermint air, giving freshness.
Finish: Surprisingly light. Those spices come back again.
Comment: Amazing nose. Just loses momemtum a little in the mouth, but worth a look.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense, a little sharp. Wood interlaces with floral and fruity notes. Freshly varnished floor. Daffodils, a hint of Turkish delight. Pear nectar. With water, gets citrussy.
Palate: Smooth and sweet at first. Then a fizzy feel. Fresh fruit. Kiwi and peaches. Gets slightly astringent.
Finish: Rather short, dry. Vanishes abruptly.
Comment: The nose is more pleasant than the palate. Water brings out more bitterness. And the finish hardly exists. Correct but disappointing in the end.
