Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Gentle. Positive oak notes: butterscotch, whipped cream with a roasted depth which grumbles away behind this frothy top. Jasmine and marzipan. Oak-driven, but good vibrant mature character.
Palate: Ripe and slightly honeyed, peaches/nectarine. Classy with a deep mid palate moving to chestnut puree.
Finish: Oily.
Comment: Balanced and calming. Worth a look.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral and delicate. Turkish delight coated in milk chocolate. Very slowly, develops on malty notes tangled up in vanilla. Lovely sour fruitiness.
Palate: Silky, smooth then a spicy outburst wipes the sweetness off like a hurricane. The fruit resist though. Gooseberry fool.
Finish: Dry, spicy then sweetened by an almondy aftertaste (blancmange).
Comment: Surprising. Expected a mature tender heart and we have a vibrant teenager. Not boring at all!
