Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Fresh green apple, vanilla scented candle (before being lit), slightly waxy, fresh peaches, suede jackets and green banana. But the green apple dominates.
Palate: Vanilla takes hold, with the green apples still there but developing into a gooseberry fool. With water, deals a cracking hand of more green fruits and gala melon.
Finish: Some spices but mainly vanilla; more juicy green summer fruits.
Comment: A corker, this one, lots of super-fruits vibes. The sort of dram I can see becoming a cult classic with people who love that fresh fruit vibe. Wonderful.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Oily and grainy with dried, oxidised fruit. Wheat flakes and herbal rye-like notes. Youthful and exuberant with the herbal notes intensifying. Honey and creamy oak add sweetness. Water mutes the aromas.
Palate: Soft and oaky. Buckets of creamy vanillins, sweet barley and alcohol! Hints of dried fruit, but the alcohol dominates. Diluted, it becomes watery and vague, Sawdust notes appear.
Finish: Still quite oaked! Water brings out the herbal notes but there’s no taming the alcohol!
Comment: Unbalanced and too alcoholic. Falls apart with water.
