Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Creamy. An appetising mix of cereals and cream. With dried fruits. Like Jordan's cereals. Sweet, nourishingand refreshing. Dry peach, cocoa powder,a hint of date.
Palate: Round and firm. The creaminess as on the nose.Fudge sauce. Oakiness shines through with a spicy dryness.
Finish: Quiet long, dry, spicy. Zest of astringency.
Comment: A generous heart with length and depth. Blossoms up with water. To savour with shortbreads.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very fresh, slightly salty with turmeric, citrus zest and a touch of candlewax. In time it dries a little:wetslate/graphite. With water tangerine.
Palate: Clean and light to start, almost misses the front of the tongue then a burst of spices. Good silky feel.
Finish: Peppery and spicy.
Comment: Good aperitif whisky. Lulls you into a false sense of security then hits you on the finish.
