Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Peaty. Farm-like. But a farm by the shore. Wet shells .A mineral touch. Sun warmed pebbles. A medicinal hint. A citrussy touch, tangerine maybe.
Palate: Smooth with a welcoming tang behind. A perfect balance with the nose. With a good mix of fruit andgrassiness. Refreshing. Gets spicier and spicier.
Finish: Lingering on peppery notes.
Comment: A pleasant outdoor dram. With an enticing delicacy.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fresh and lifted. Smoked fish. Gin like (juniper). Quite fleshy with a gentle grassiness behind marine. With water, wet lobster creels and sea-water soaked rope.
Palate: Slow start with a thread of balancing smoke lying above a mix of oily fruit and lobster shell.
Finish: Gentle smoke drifting away.
Comment: Lovely balance. Great everyday dram.
