Tasting notes
Taster   Kate Packwood
Nose: Spun sugar and sugared almonds followed by a sweet floral note of freesias. Ripe plums open out in to tropical fruit notes of peach and mango flesh, before a hint of orange oil and pears.
Palate: Initially big orchard notes of pear crumble and pear drops before richer notes of black cherries in dark chocolate and an intense hit of rum and raisin ice cream.
Finish: Big tropical fruit punch; fruity with a well balanced sweetness.
Comment: Like a Sunday afternoon in a tiki bar, leaves you wanting more.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Orange barley sweets and milk chocolate coated bonbons with runny caramel sauce. Spices and vanilla from carrot cake. Sweetness continues with rum and raisin ice cream and full fate mango yoghurt.
Palate: Gentle with that barley sweetness rolling over in waves. Plenty of those rum-esque notes hit too.
Finish: Spices finally start to dig in and take hold. Punchy for its ABV.
Comment: A good solid whiskey with those intriguing and interesting rum-like notes playing on the nose and palate.
