Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Wet sand, gooseberry and kiwi fruit, develops into a more complex tinned fruit salad and a hint of cucumber water.
Palate: Sweet builders tea with a straw made from a cinnamon stick. There is smoke, but it doesn't appear until the end of the palate and is pretty quiet- it is not the headline act here.
Finish: Lemons and limes, backed with a smoke element.
Comment: A very nice, easy drinking, smoky whisky.

Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Dusty, with rich polished wood notes. With a little more time, heather honey and malted cereal start to emerge, alongside a very subtle blink-and-you’d-miss-it smoke.
Palate: The smoke is much more pronounced on the palate, with woody/bonfire notes, baked apple with cloves, some dark chocolate and damson jam.
Finish: The oakiness is very prominent here, with the woody spices following suit too.
Comment: A smoky, spicy beast with a few tasty tentacles.
