Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Elegant smoke masks a youthful, cleansing acidity, and belies a fresh sweetness.
Palate: Light and crisp. Above a cereal base, lemony smoke cleans without compromise.
Finish: Simple and refreshing - yet nothing is missing. Confident.
Comment: I like this young man: he's showered and shaved, suited and booted, and off for a night on the town.
8.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Smoky and intense. Good delivery of sweet peat smoke. Balanced, subtle and rounded. A fleshy smoked fish, olive oil, vegetal. Good breadth of flavour. Intriguing. Hint of coconut.
Palate: Very smoky start, then medicinal notes, then macaroon with a floral sweetness underpinning it. Lightly oily texture.
Finish: Long, smoky, peppered mackerel.
Comment: More expressive than the other peated one. Very good.
