Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Gentle and luscious with mango and peach and some passion fruit behind (it's hot so add water). After water some parma violet, a little smoke, linseed oil (cricket bats).
Palate: Long and balanced with masses of tropical fruit - especially after water - that reddens into strawberry. Water is needed to get the full textural effect.
Finish: Delicate smoke seems to break free.
Comment: Subtle, layered, long. Tropical fruit. Bowmore's are highly prized, grab thiswhile you can.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Medicinal. Distant smoke. Some TCP. Bog myrtle. Pretty restrained at first. Takes time to come to life. A mineral note. Lots of exotic fruit. Passion fruit.
Palate: Dry, slightly sooty. Fizzy spiciness wrapped in sweet vanilla syrup. Plentyof exotic fruit.
Finish: Dry. Spicy. White pepper.
Comment: That whisky needs a dash of water to cut the edges. Clean, big with that wonderful exotic fruit character that some Bowmore proudly display.
