Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Marine. Briny. Seaweeds, smoked haddock. A citrussy vibe. Juicy lemon. Or even lemon posset which vanillacovers with a sweet veil.
Palate: Nicely flowing. Sweet maltiness followed by ginger.Fizzy feel. Lemon posset again.
Finish: A salted seaweed come back.
Comment: A marine dram but neither smokynor peaty. Just a briny profile. Another wake up dram but this time, bring the kippers!
7.8
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Blackcurrant chews,boiled sweets.
Palate: Nice barley delivery, sweet and clean with distinctive oaky and peaty underlay.
Finish: Spice and wood at the finish, and beeswax.
Comment: Age has dulled the peat impact. But pleasant enough.
