Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rich, elegant. Balanced mix of oak, dried fruits/peels, smoke, tobacco, nuts, sultana cake.
Palate: Medium- to full-bodied. Sweet start that soon picks up prickles of spiciness, then red fruits/cherry and dried fruits. Flows beautifully in the mouth: nutmeg, light syrup, oak, fruit cake. Utterly delicious, autumnal. Complex, gorgeous.
Finish: Dry, spicy, slightly smoky.
Comment: Real energy, drive and life. Classy.
9.0
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Vegetal. Slightly woody.
Palate: Smoky, perfumy. Fatty.
Finish: Peaty, oaky. Spiky.
Comment: One for the collectors. Nonetheless, I wish Millburn had continued to be a distillery, rather than turning into a steakhouse.
