Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and slightly austere to start. Then brown crab meat, angelica, oiliness... Becomes more lifted withtime and a splash of water. Lifted and slightly rubbery smoke.
Palate: Peppery start then and oily rich palate. A lovely seamless quality to the taste:soft melon like fruits, lightmartitime notes, gentle smoke, prickles of pepper
Finish: Sweet smoke.
Comment: Balance is the key here and the higher alcohol is not obtrusive.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: An immediate sweet whiff followed by a briny and smoky character. TCP.
Palate: Pungent. Sherbety. Gives a fizzy feel on the tongue.Quite refreshing. Liquorice and mint. The smokelingers, leaving a sooty dust sensation on the tongue.
Finish: Medicinal, liquoriced. A TCP aftertaste.
Comment: A classic Islay. Full of smoke, soot and tar.
