Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Initially not much, then sweet, perfumed, floral, malt; lemon, sesame oil. Water brings out vanillins, sweet oak, tobacco. Complex yet discreet.
Palate: Long, ripe with sweet fruitiness. Flows beautifully, mouth-coating nut oil, a hint of resinous oak, honey, nuts, spice. Charming and mouth-filling.
Finish: Dry but not woody.
Comment: Great balance between sweet fruit, nutty flavours and oak. Very good.
8.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Perfumy. Hint of burnt orange.
Palate: Surprisingly rich, vanilla toffee flavours, drying to flowery, herbal (camomile?) notes.
Finish: Slightly short, drying. New wood.
Comment: An interesting interplay of flavours. Comes to rather an abrupt halt.
