Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Quite assertive. Sherry, oily, nutty.
Palate: Nutty, sweet, chewy. Cinnamon. Toast.
Finish: Oily, perfumy. Cypress? Sweet leaves. A hint of peat. A touch of oak.
Comment: Big flavours, and a lot happening, but could be rounder.

Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Sweet with a beeswaxy texture.
Palate: A slightly battered array of oaky notes limps alongside the strained malt.
Finish: Superficial smoky malt notes but out of sorts.
Comment: The nose is outstanding, but not a patch on Hibiki 21.
