Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Sugared almonds, Christingle services, patchouli oil, roast duck and orange sauce, cigar boxes and tobacco leaves.
Palate: Not much up front at first then a Pontefract cake note develops, blueberry and raspberry crumble, more dark cooked fruits, cherries and a citrus zip.
Finish: Long with that citrus edge and tobacco note melding together.
Comment: A huge mix of aromas and flavours. Very intriguing.

Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Smoked, caramelised oranges, cedar wood, a touch of incense and freshlyturned earth.
Palate: A little thin on the palate, but leading into some liquorice spice, a raspberrytartness and a touch of citrus lemon.
Finish: Lingering citrus, alongside a clean malt and some cedary/aromatic oak notes.
Comment: Nice balance of aromas and flavours here, with some unusual aromatic notes to boot.
