Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Reminds me of bow resin. Rye bread with a little wood shaving and cedar. There are bags of rye with a decent oak note.
Palate: Takes you off on a rye trip. Tons of oak, red fruit and that rye pep really grips you.
Finish: Simply whallops you.
Comment: One of the first big ryes I tried. Still leaves its impact.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Highly perfumed and resinous. Odd fellows, dried tangerine skins, light touch of pencil shavings and varnish. Big perfumed rye attack. Fresh baked rye sourdough bread. Highly perfumed, rosewater, pot pourri.
Palate: Hot! this needs ice/water/other ingredients in a cocktail. A huge blast of flavour. Masses of cherry, anise and oil of cloves, light acorn notes. Good sharpness.
Finish: Long and explosive.
Comment: Not for the fainthearted.
